Sapa Hiking 2 days and 1 night at a Local homestay

Highlights: two full days exploring the famous villages around the peaceful town of Sapa, learning the unique culture, local lives of the many hill-tribes and enjoy the splendid mountainous scenery.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Laocai/Sapa/ Laochai/ Ta van (6 hours trekking, 15 km, 2 villages)

Arriving at Lao Cai station in the early morning, you’ll be met and driven to Sapa. From there, you’ll enjoy the breakfast before taking the paths along the valleys between mountains to get to Laochai village. Enjoy the overall pictures of the villages among terraces. Visit the H'mong living in wooden and bamboo houses. Continue going to Tavan village to visit the Dzay minority. Stay overnight in Tavan village. (Picnic lunch by a stream, dinner prepared by guide in a local family)

Day 2: TaVan/Giang Ta Chai (5 hours trekking, 14 km, 2 villages.)

Get up early in the morning to enjoy the daily life of the ethnic minorities in the village. Breakfast; take the road to GiangTaChai village of the Red Dzao minority via the paths between terraces and through bamboo forests. Visit silver waterfall and suspension Rattan Bridge, visit the people in the village and then cross Muong Hoa River up to the mountain to visit the last village of the trek - Supan village of the H'mong. Get back to Sapa then continue to Lao Cai for your overnight train to Hanoi. (Picnic lunch).
